Plavo Wheatgerm Carrier Oil is derived from the germ of the wheat kernel using a cold-pressed extraction process. Wheatgerm Carrier Oil contains high levels of vitamin E and essential fatty acids, giving it conditioning benefits for the skin. Due to its thicker, slightly nutty scent, it is more commonly found in mature skin formulations, overnight oils, and products that are for repair. With a thicker consistency relative to other oils, Wheatgerm Carrier Oil is used in combination with lighter carrier oils to increase richness, promote skin elasticity, and provide a protective layer.
