Add 78 ml of perfumery-grade ethanol and stir well. Incorporate fixative (if using) and blend thoroughly. Add water dropwise, if clarity or roundness is needed. Let it rest (macerate) in a cool, dark place for 2-4 weeks. Filter using a coffee filter for crystal clarity (optional). Bottle and label appropriately for use or sale.
