1,2,3-Benzotriazole

1,2,3-Benzotriazole is an anti-corrosive agent that appears as white to light tan crystals or white powder and is odourless. It is mainly used as an anticorrosive for materials like copper, brass, and bronze, as a stabiliser for plastics and similar materials, and as an anti-fogging agent in films. This versatile compound also shows antihypertensive, antibacterial, analgesic, antifungal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties.
